In Air Warrior I wanted "ROCKS" but it was already taken.  So I picked ROX.

Figured after all that time...why change it?

I couldn't get my Warbirds handle Addman when I came to AH so I looked franticaly around the office for inspiration and came up with phatzo.
This is the real Phatzo

You DO realize those are the "Eyes of Death", right?  :D

Mine just popped into mind.  Didn't realize how close it is in spelling to Voltron till well after, AND someone had to point it out. :lol  My response when it was pointed out, "Wait, what?  Aww...mittens.".  :rofl

My friends call me Steely, first name is Neil, surname starts with J, so they started calling me neilyj, then steelyj, then just steely.

It's nothing to do with Steely Dan, but I do get that a lot <g>

First AH callsign was Slack, taken from a Spitfire XII pilot I got to know named Tom Slack.  When I decided to get the 80th going, it was time for a change.  A nice photo of a single engine, early model 38 from the 80th coming into land made all the sense in the world.  CorkyJr it was.  Fester later was kind enough to skin this bird for me so I get to fly around with my AH ID on my 38G

Going back to my autocross days and road racing with SCCA and NASA my car number was always 90.

And I wear a black cloak around the house. It's comfy.

I think I'm the only Fugitive. I picked it after a very short break. I had been MDJOE for years both here and in AWIII. I was part of the 444th Air Mafia for all of those years as well. In the "mob" we had a saying, "There is only one way out of the Mafia, in a pine box!" So when I left the Mafia, I became the "Fugitive"   :D

i;m kind of curious though? why do you have the shadow in your thinghie over there?

I picked it up as the only white guy playing basketball at Lorenze Park, North Las Vegas. They said I was scary good for a white guy. It started as variations of 'ghost' 'casper' then someone yelled" Boo!" And it stuck, 20+ years later.

Boo

I picked my name since penguins are my favorite animal, and that their habitat is being destroyed.  Also, it gave an unexpected twist of irony since penguins are flightless birds.

I forgot & left mine off. I had the privilege to pack the ejection seat parachutes, drag chutes, and survival equipment in several F-4 Phantom Models (The Lead Sled because it hated to stop on the runway) including the F-4G Wild Weasel. It was used in late Viet-Nam as the EF-4C replacing the F-105 Thuds, in 75 it was the EF-4E, & Early Desert Storm as F-4G's. First in with ARM missiles like the AIM-9 to take out radar installations.
