Well, Im in Adelaide, Im waaaay off the Cyclone as in several thousand miles off, but have I got my lawn irrigated yeah. Im prepared for the casualty lists, I hope I dont see any names, after recent events especially.

Im in the south tip of Aus, but that Cyclone is gonna swing inland, get caught by the easterly, then swing over the south east of the continent. We are gonna get drenched.

Pacman has nothing to worry about, he's 3000 miles from it. I'm 2000 miles closer and all I'm expecting is some rain. Its the Far North Queensland farmers and small comunities that are going to bear the brunt of this. There is also a good chance the indigenous population will suffer, I would hate to be living under a piece of corrugated roofing iron propped up with a few sticks on Cape York at the moment.
No thank you Turkish, I'm sweet enough.

Know 20-25 students from my school that are studying abroad this semester in Queensland on the Gold Coast.  So much for them expecting a nice trip.

Update: Will hit in 5 hours time. Will remain a Category 5 until several hundered miles in land. BOM says that when this storm dissapates severe thunderstorms will cover all of the eastern seaboard. South Australia's east which encompasses Adelaide (me) and Western Victoria. The Gold Coast (Phatzo) and Melbourne and all rural areas will be hit by strong TStorms in the next few days.

They're cool, I'm on the Gold Coast, the worst thing happening to them at the moment is insane humidity. Did I mention I'm going nuts and going to kill the next person who says "Geez, how bloody hot is it"
