Worst ever.  Wife and I looked at each other during it: "she forgot some lines".

I hate the "countryization" of the Anthem.  Just sing and recite the Anthem.

The National Anthem is about America, not glorifying Christina Angulera. It was horrible! I cannot stand it when they 'trick' it out.

Just say'n....

are they trying to market the Superbowl to 13 year-olds?

honestly, that ridiculous voice-phazer thing the lead guy was using made me want to puke.

angulera screwing up the anthem did make me puke :furious

Black Eyed Peas were better than The Who last year.

Blasphemy.

Drugs must be getting really expensive for Slash to perform with the BEP.

Agreeeeeeeeeeeeeeed!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Half time show was way better than last years.  I liked Slash but no one can ever pull off Axel Rose's voice.  I've never heard anyone even close so all should stop trying to sing his songs

On a side note I won $75 so far in office pool!!!!!!!!!!!!

they should've read the constitution too.

That would've taken hours!

Half time was painful I don't know why they never bring in someone with talent.

They could go with anyone from Boston to breaking Benjamen and it would be better than the BEP

Or even bring on a skynard cover band and do freebird cripes that show sucked

Game was good though

Yes it was, but it was a disgrace for Christina to mess up the national anthem in front of him.

Ended up being a decent game and I enjoyed it.  I liked the reading of the Declaration of Independence....that type of stuff always brings a tear to my eyes when it's done tastefully.

Halftime show....the lights were kind of cool but I have to agree with Choker.....My wife said the EXACT same phrase about no one being able to pull off Axel's voice.

The Post Game show was pretty poor if you ask me.  Roger Staubach actually looked as though he was irritated by having to bring the Lombardi trophy through the players up to the "stage".  I may have heard him incorrectly but it seemed as though he just wanted to get the hell out of there.

Final thought.....I was kind of shocked to see them do the presentation in what appeared to be a Stainless Steel "Extra Wide" Bagel Toaster.  WTF was that thing they were on top of....I really thought that this was a giant toaster!

CNN reported that she claims she was caught up in the moment and lost her place.  Well, if she'd just sung it straight instead of trying to glitz it up, it wouldn't have been an issue.

The game had to start sometime on Sunday.

So, who do we put on the cross for the worst National Anthem in super bowl history and a horrible half time show?  Further proof the NFL is clueless about how badly they need to get LA a football team, the entertainment industry is tired fo waiting and starting to leave them behind.
