Shane,

Not sure what 'weaksauce' means....but i was in there with you and agree it was pretty lopsided on all afternoon.  I got a bit fed up too...but I suck anyway..LOL.  You at least made a good show of it.

I am certainly no old timer, but I have been flying AvA a lot the past month.  I have never seen those guys (or you for that matter) in the AvA.

I tried to chat with you on Vox - don't know if you heard me or not.

Them trees kept jumping out in front of me!

I personally prefer the no enemy icons. It adds to the challenge of target tracking IMO. On the other hand, if it was all gang bang, I can understand the frustration. Sometimes you just have to ask in the All Channel for some people to switch to even sides. Organizing a vox channel for your country mates to tune to will help aid in coordinating attacks and such. It will also help reduce gang bangs if the opposing country is also working in groups.

What on earth is "weaksauce"? :headscratch:

Let me leave you with this Shane... The many before you who have posted the same(including me), have now become regulars.... if you keep trying it out, it grows on you. :aok



It takes some time, no icons is defiantly not the path of least resistance. Yet for many, in the end its worth the effort.

I've heard the name Shane before, so I will tone down my statement a bit...

What's lame is one or more LW boyz coming in, flying for an hour (two hours, an afternoon, whatever), and then calling the arena "weaksauce" or "lame" or "unskilled" after one attempt.  I can say the same thing about LW, or any arena for that matter.

Give it a fair chance, you may come to like the challenge of no icons.   There are a whole lot of great guys (the vast majority) in the AvA who play with fairness, civility, and are a lot of fun to play with and against.  The gangbanging that you complain about comes from MA folks who bring their bad habits in with them.

 If you decide the AvA isn't for you, don't let the door hit ya on the way out and enjoy the same old MA play.  :salute

Plus, if you can manage to get over yourself a bit, life will be somewhat less stressful.

Yeah, Shifty, it seems it's at least a monthly occurrence every time someone stumbles through the AvA front door, realizes they are in the wrong place, and starts slinging mud to cover their exit to the MAs.  :salute

Let me help you current AvsA players out

Shane has alot more time flying in the CT/AvsA than most of ya'll....... except for people like Oldman, Shifty, Jaeger1, 1Duke1, etc......

he has only been away from the game for a little bit, nothing more ( well except the "no icons AvsA", which wasn't here when he took an absence )

edit: oh yeah, Shane has a way of getting in to peoples puny little heads  :devil ..... that means he can smack talk ya and get you off your game if you let him.....

doesn't matter though, he posted in the opening post we would not be seeing him back..... which is a shame really.... he is always a great fight, and is even great a winging together if you know his traits....


had fun tonight, Oldman, NrRaven .... hopefully ya'll can stay online longer with me next time  :salute :cheers:
