it could be done relatively easy game design wise.  If the B-29 takes engine damage and starts to over heat due to either loss of oil pressure or radiator leak and the engine isn't shut off before it redlines then it overheats, swallows a valve, pops a hole in the top of the piston, forces fuel in the crankshaft, ignites the fuel and 30-40 seconds later the wing folds due to the intense heat of the fire against the wing spar.

nice one, do we got anyone else for posting their B-29 kills? and its sad that we havnt seen anyone shoot down a fighter in these B-29s yet.

I was lucky not to get shot down, I made one good 45 degree angle pass but ballsed it up and only got a few hits on the vertical stabiliser.

I was so keen to get the kill before anyone else that I just rolled around behind and barreled in on his six.

He lined me up at the last second and the rounds from the 20mm and two of the other turrets passed just over my cockpit. If he'd had his eye in I'd have been vaporised.

He was about one minute from his drop too, so I suspect he was busy in the bomb site.

I got lucky.

I am talking about the Hitech kill.  I am assuming the plane on fire is his.
