So, it's 1/4 to 5 CST. I'm sitting here having a cup of coffee, when I here an awful wailing in my back yard.
About 5 months ago some lowlife dropped off a pregnant cat in my alleyway and the cat gave birth to 5 kittens. Momma cat vaporized, but the kittens went on to be good alleycats and some got gave away while 2 stayed in the neighborhood. (I called animal control, but what are they gonna do with 2 more cats?)
My wife and son are allergic to felines, but I figured I should give the alleycats a bit of leeway as they are good mousers.
Last week, we had another cat show up out of nowhere. No collar, but obviously friendly.
Now this poor cat is sitting in my yard, screaming like a maniac.
It's -9 degrees and I can't bring it into the house. I think that the mousers are keeping it out of the garage.
It ran from me when I tried to pick it up.
Should I shoot it?
Should I leave it be?
I'm going to open the cellar and put a pile of hot meat and gravy out.
Seriously, I need to figure out a long term plan for this cat that doesn't involve my house or the shelter.
