... After not firing my guns in my 38G and dying dozens of times, I figured it wasn't my night.  So I upped a 39 and headed back to the fight.  My little guy started crying so I told my squaddies I was afk for a couple enroute.

I got back to tell them I had to call it a night, only to find I'd rammed someone while AFK.

I'd like a ruling from the judges on this one, but I gotta believe this is a first

I accept the blame.   It was I who "in haste, teased Shuffler on spiking Del's tires while he was in the latrine", accidentally hit your fuel shutoff switch and could not find the switch.   You rounded the corner so fast I just figured I'd do you a small favor in lessening your "roman candle" habit.   

Had I not hit the switch, you'd have had the optimum amount of fuel to have avoided the "AFK ram".

I did it in the AvA a few years ago. Went afk to take a leak and came back to find myself in the tower after colliding with some ace. I was also cursed for being a ram tard

Why? Do you think the guy who rammed you has a monopoly on stupidity? NOT! One question. Did he get the kill? That happens to me every time some Ho dweeb rams me. We both crash, & he gets the kill. I have accepted that anyone who rams me will get the kill, even if he hits dirt before me.

Why is it that it's always the other guys who gets the kill in a ram? That's my experience as well.

I have came back from afk to a message that somebody collided with me followed by, you have shot down that same guy....with follow on from that guy on what a ram tard I was.   Made me day.

Not a first...sorry! We had a squadie afk when a con came in on him. We yelled, we screamed, we filled his buffer with Check 6. No good. Then the con comes blazing in and rams him. When he gets back we ask him to check is buffer for damage and a kill message. LOL. he continued on the mission no worse for the incident.

Last tour I was flying along in an f6 looking for a gv to bomb. As I tilted to look a 190d clipped my wing. He flew away but eventually succumbed to injuries. I landed after dropping my eggs on a couple of gvs with no damage.

Some scrub crashed into my AFK plane while I was on climbout.
