Yep. I saw a countryman collide into his intended target with a perk plane. I laughed. The next day I did the same thing in the same plane. I didn't laugh.

Luckily I think they didnt return before the buffer scrolled beyond it.

I've been both ends of this, been rammed while afk, and rammed someone who was afk (more than once, I'm a slow learner).  :D

What I don't know is whether I got hit from behind or someone tried to HO me.  I know the message said I collided, not the white message saying so and so collided with you.

I was 1K level when I went AFK.  I'm assuming someone came in head on and drove through me, yet somehow I collided with them.

Good to know it's more common then I thought.  It made for a good laugh last night and a fitting end to one of those nights where no matter what I did, I was going to end up cartoon dead on every flight :)

Maybe this will make you feel better Guppy. I was once hit by free falling bomb after I took a pass on a set of buffs. The same thing just happened to Bruv last week. :D

i WAS ONCE TOLD BY A SQUADIE STATING HE HAD GOTTEN THE INFO FROM AN ah SOURCE THAT THE PLANE WITH THE SLOWER CONNECTION USUALLY GETS THE KILL IF BOTH PLANES CRASH.  ooops! sorry for yelling.  :old:

I leave my plane on climbout all the time, nothing worse than being in another room and hearing pings and sprinting back in to see the screen covered in oil, its the highway to the dangerzone all right!  :salute
