1055mm howitzer could fire alot more then just flares.
that was rl tho ack. AH doesnt model problems. so the 105mm sherman would basically perform the same way in AH as a m4(76) does. (maybe a little slow).

AH models turret traverse speeds, muzzle velocity and trajectory.  The 105mm was not a high velocity gun and did not have a flat trajectory, it was a howitzer after all and not designed to fight other tanks.  The lack of a powered turret is going to hinder the M4A3(105) when fighting other tanks, especially if facing multiple tanks and the slow reload time.  If you want a tank that does well against other tanks, the M4A3(105) isn't that tank.  It would be great in the role it performed in real life, as an assault support vehicle used to assault the towns or bases as it will make short work of the buildings and hangers.

and its not like my request is a hard one. its as simple as giving the m476 the 105mm gun option.

It would take more than just adding the 105mm gun as an option in the hanger.  The turret would been to be redone as well as the modeling of the HVSS suspension system that was added to the M4A3(105) that gave the M4A3(105) wider tracks to accomodate the increased weight of the additional armor and a smoother ride than the regular Shermans.

If you want an additional US tank that could go up against the German heavies then either the M4A3E2 "Jumbo",  M4A3E8(76)W "Easy Eight", or the M26 Pershing would be better choices.

Didn't the Sherman Jumbo have more frontal armor than a Tiger?

Yep, but the Jumbo came out of the factory with the 75mm though most units upgunned it to the 76mm on the field.

The 105 is more of an indirect fire weapon, its use in AH would be difficult and useless against other tanks.
No thank you Turkish, I'm sweet enough.

Just imagine Ack-Ack in a leather thong cracking a whip at the back of
Tyrannis, his screams of pain and constant repeating of 'it doesn't hurt,
it doesn't I swear!'.
Somewhere huddled in a dark, damp corner skorpion is in the fetal
position sucking his thumb muttering 'Stuggy.. I want my Stuggy back...'
