I can't tell people how to fly butttttttttttttttttttttttttt
« on: March 06, 2011, 01:03:02 AM »
Your boring the heck out of me. I promised this camp I would be far more aggressive. So I up under the enemy, I go in at low alt. Then I run out of gas while 6 ponies, 3 109s, 2 f4us, and even a spit just b&z me. The Bish, once my proud chess piece have gotten so self unassured they won't even follow me out of their horde. Then when I finally isolate one and get involved with my f4u1a against a spit, f4f or some other turner and forget about the other 30 I get picked. I can't say alot about picking because I pick as well. I'm just so hungry for the fight. Not sure if I should pay 15 bucks a month for this amazingly weak game play.

That was just an example, this happens every night and day. I even told them send two down to the deck. I'll fight the two. I won't survive but at least I'd get some action.

My fondest hope is this doesn't go into 24 pages.

Tonight I just climbed to 20k plus. Honestly don't like spending the time. knocked off a few strat killers, some runners, and some buffs. Did refuse to gang a p51 that already had 3 guys on him (Not that it makes me a fair guy).

I guess the correct whine should be why doesn't any other chess piece take up a horde to meet the horde?  :D

I believe HTC, attempted a fix for that at one time, when they enforced a base capture order.  Like most really well thought out ideas, it was too much of a change in routine for the players so they resisted and eventually got their way.  This is not a dig at HTC, only an observation of the rocky path of progress.

It was abandoned at that time not because it was simply a change of routine, but wasn't a well though out idea at all.

I have nothing against hordes. I just wonder why, if in a horde, are they so standoffish. I flew with a horde to fight a horde a couple of days ago. Many climbed to about 8k or more. I went in at 2k in a plane I may have flown once before, f4-1. Landed 6 kills. Zipping through the sea of red, chronically checking my 6, pointing my nose up, nervously, and hoping my buds clear my 6. They did at least 3 times.

It is the most awesome feeling to face your fear and fly into what may be certain death and come out clean on the other side. I'm not a great pilot for sure, but I do have confidence that I will at least give many players a tough time in the ma, under that type of pressure.

Oh a hint for the novice. Many people look up when on the deck and for good reason. What they don't expect is someone coming in on the deck to get them.

It was awful! Flexibility was hampered.

Carefully in that thing. Try not to dive steeper than 45 degrees or you will find yourself screaming to the deck with broken wings. Awesome cannons tho. Tough plane to land too. One of my favorite specialty aircraft. Good for taking out 262s as well as buffs. You are out of luck on the deck with it. I think, not real sure, it is the faster climber above 20k other than the 163. Just keep it climbing around 200 mph. Has great range also.

Took that thing to 42k in an FSO once. I get disoriented that high.
