at least for CT arena, PLEASE remove that laser rangefinder thing.

P.S. this goes for the "is so dificult to get pings at 800+ range" , "show me a film" and "50 cals are undermodelled" crowds. What this film shows are SOLID hits at 850-800 yards. Had it been 950 I would have had a good deal of pings 2...

P.S. x2: I also have my problems believing that a P47 could stand such a slow,nose-up attitude for so long, so stable, with the 2500hp engine it carried.

P.S. x3: IMO P47D25 is the most underrated plane of this game

what are you saying ram? I looked at the film, you did a good job of squeezing all the E out of that D25 you could get. You sent a barrage of 50 cals at him from 850 on your FE, 8 fifty cals ram, thats alot of ammo. You are suggesting that the 50 cal is overmodeled? the AH gunnery model is wrong? what? Im sorry, I dont see a problem. Non beliving is not the issue. You just trying to make everyone believe it is wrong. I dont see it bud. Go get better bait. I got alot of films in my P-47, you wanna see them?

SOB, He said he's found the error of his ways.

He admits that the only reason he disliked the F4U-1C so much, and so affectionatly called it the 'chog', is because he has this sick passion for the plane. He wanted it perked so he would no longer fly it and because it was so hard for him to get kills in while everyone else could rack up 3 or 4 a flight. It would take him, on average. 4 flights to get an assist.

He admits, the Hispanos are not uber but they are indeed correctly modelled as the best armament of the game.

He admits his incessant babbling (whining) in regards to the Chog, N1K2 (or niki as he refers to it), Hispanos being overmodelled and the Fw being under modelled is because he is in fact ashamed of his small member- which he makes up for by getting the Chog perked (because he feels inadequate with an arena full of them) and constantly trying to get things HARDer so he can fool himself into believing he is the best sack jockey of all time with the women.

We know your secrets now RAM.. we're glad you've found your true self.

well... On Monday I was in a bomber of some sort.. I was running for all I was worth as a YAK T was slowly trying to catch me at about 2k ft

He was slooowwwly gaining, he was creeping up on my low 6 and I didn't have a shot. He went into a gentle climb and was positioned on my 6 at about d1.5, so I held my fire. He closed to 1.4 or so and started taking the occasional shot... his first hit came at 1.3...... the fatal blow came at 1.1..

I was soooooo pissed!! granted I gave him a very steady target, but a shot like that would NOT have been possible with only 32 rounds and no rangefinder...

Was awesome shooting Yeager, but at the time there was NO WAY IN HELL i was gonna say so +)

May have the final shots on film...

I was hit once at 1.4k out. That was terrible.

but then again, i can hit at 1.2k myself.

No ammo, all hes saying is that its way to easy to get long range kills in AH.

I couldnt care less if this is realistic or not now, if it indeed is realistic now, then i want it changed to be unrealistic, make it harder.

To go back to the issue.

I agree with RAm about the laser range finder.

As it is now, it is possible for us to see that we're extending by 1 yard a minute, and then assume we're safe. Or that the enemy is gaining at 1 yard a minute. We know exactly when it's 300 yards and thus when to open up.

Make it come in .5 mile increments. That way once yer at d1.0, the next update you'll get is either d1.5 or d.5. will make shooting and fighting a LOT more intense, as it'll force people to break because the enemy MIGHT be gaining; ya just don't know.

It'll actually benefit the .50/hisp crowd more than the LW d00ds, as they have further ranging guns. So you chaps can be happy too

now, if all he had to say was about the ranging icons, then I would prolly agree with the issue, but as usuall there had to be the standard LW whine about "oh no mr Pyro, the 50 cals are too good" and he even brings in the P-47D25 into the issue. So, if the icons truly were the issue, then the origional post has some extra non-needed stuff that brings up the "uh uh, here we go again" flag.

I DONT SAY A WORD ABOUT THE F·!$!ING 50 CALS (I would say about the mauser 20mm dispersion, but I didnt mention it in this thread as it does not belong to the topic), I DO say that to hit at 850 yards SHOULD BE MUCH MORE DIFFICULT, and that if it isnt difficult now is for the rangefinder icons WICH I ASK PLEASE TO BE RETIRED IN THE CT -not in the MA-

Oh, yes, I note that I was nose up, at 120mph, AS STABLE AS A ROCK while firing 8mgs, and having a full-wepping 2500hp engine in my nose. I do have a complain on that, but not just on the jug, but also on the nik,109, 190, P51, and ALL the planes.

And yes, I am pretty !·!"ing IRRITATED with your answers. Anyone in my place would be. Is hopeless...if you say that you get regular hits at 900-800 yard ranges they ask for the film ,and when they get the film they call you whiner.

Looks like you're complaining about some dang good flying and shooting on your part.

I'm in agreement that icons suck, BTW. But given your situation, wouldn't you have taken that shot anyway even without the laser rangefinder? Taking a P-47 into a gangbang like that... sheesh!
