I've found this picture in a site dédicaced to the spitfire,the comic is from J.Barbaud with draw those strange looking plane in a monthly magazine dedicaced to air fan : "Le Fana de l'aviation"

WX were the code letters of No. 302 "City of Poznan" squadron, the other Polish squadron that fought during the Battle of Britain as part of 12 Group in the north.
