Dude it is pretty clear by now when there is a one on one going on.  Its weak and dweeby to pick the con in a stall fight.  You deserved to be ridiculed.

It may have been clear for Pipz and moray, to an outsider, not so much. Killed 6 that run and only 1 pm.

It was kind of a neat run. I had 3 kills and ran to 7 to see why the dar was flashing. OTW there, Kill#4, then a few minutes later, kill#5, and just before I landed kill#6. The latter 2 kills were on my fellow pickers. Pinged a tyhie, and a pony. Then refused to get dragged into a horde. I think kill #4 was a hurricane diving on one of my guys. I looked to my left while diving on a nik1 that was originally higher than me. If I continued toward the n1k1 I would have pulled straight into the gun sites of the hurry. So a ruddered left and straffed him. Then the n1k1 was almost on my 6, just 400 out. SA means a lot!!

Addendum: Didn't get the kill on the Hurri, Have no idea what #4 kill was. Maybe a proxy.

Yeah, and to the couple that were orbiting overtop, spectating.  It was very clear it was a one on one, that we moved away from the main furball.

Seriously, no big deal, but when you see a one on one, you ask if they need help.  We were away from the town, away from the field, away from all the cons, and we were going at each other in a hell of an even fight.  I called people off the fight, and it was clear that he did too.  That, or other Knights just had the common game sense which you lacked, and moved on.  Not many times you get a Yak9T against a Yak9U, with two very equal pilots.

You came buzzing down from your perch, and killed me at the apogee of a 150 AGL foot prop hang.  Wow, such tremendous skill.  I will be definitely looking for you to go into the DA at any point, since you so kindly offered.  

Bottom line, you brought this onto the boards looking for a reaction, or perhaps  justification of your actions .  I hope you're happy, and found what you were looking for.

I think you have been around AH enough to recognize a 1vs1 when you see it, you saw it,you decided, you took your shot, end of story.
I would have not sent a PM (never done it), but maybe i would have wrote on 200 how cheap/lame that shot was.
That's my opinion and i know many will disagree, i guess for me the kill is not anymore that important.

Well, you're barking up the wrong tree with Grizz. About as game savvy and honorable as they come.  

As far as his 262.... how much time do you think there is to check for wingtips? And if he's the one that took the wingtip... it was his fight to finish as he wished.

Actually when I came in on that cluster of red I did not know that the guy I was going for was missing half a wing tip but if I would have I would have killed him sooner. 

As for "judging" you, I'm not judging, you started like your 5th thread of the week talking about picking a guy in an isolated 1v1 so I told you wtg, I thought that's what you wanted.

I should film more often. This has turned into a my word against his word type of argument. That's not good. I should have refrained from identification even though encouraged to do so to avoid such an argument. However I endeaver to be forthright.

The fight was by town 9. Let's say he wins the fight and we have goon inbound to the town. He's obligated to kill the goon. What do I say to my countrymen. Well they were having a duel and I stayed out. They may have been having a duel but it wasn't isolated. Not at a base Knights were trying to capture. If the fight was further east, yeah I could see a complaint but it was right beside the town, just a hair west. The same side knights were entering the melee from.

Then some of the posters were saying I just wanted attention. Not at all. That is an amazing allegation. The reason for the post was as the title implied, the PM. I was stunned to get a pm over this. I never saw that coming. Caught me off guard for sure. Normally I let PM's go. But this was way out of whack. No, not rude but definitely surprising in that situation.

I was picked the other day. It was just me and one con in a sector or so I thought. We got into it and as I was pinging the rascal when I got scalped. My first thought was why didn't I check my 6. I could have easily exited the fight. My second thought was that rascal needs to die asap. It never crossed my mind to send a pm to the picker. I don't expect fairness of any sort. In my humble opinion the picker was doing his job. Saving his comrade. It's up to me to save myself.

I do have a film where I was fighting a KI84 in an isolated area one day. The film shows the ki doing over 100mph faster upon entering the fight than I was in in my F6. I wanted to see what the ki84 was all about and headed for him. I've never flown a ki84 until the KOTH last week. So we get into it. I was pinging the rascal when I caught a glimps of a 109 entering the fight. My SA was on that day. I exited the fight abruptly in a nose dive and the 109 kisses mother earth in an attempt at the pick. The Ki84 heads home with a fuel leak. In those situations it is all about the SA.

A few weeks back I was flying in a G-14 and I jumped two 190s that were a few k below me. Good fight. Both planes have advantages, ultimately I had alt, they had numbers. In the midst of turn 7 or 8, I am turning to get my first shot on one of the 190s when some bonehead in a Brewster comes blowing through guns blazing. I have to alter my turn to avoid him, which puts the other 190 on my tail. Fight was pretty much over at this point.

I was ticked but on their end the 190s should have been more ticked. They had the good fight going and someone ruined their fight. I had no means of letting the Brewster know we had a 2v1 going but...

Or maybe the Nancy 190s needed help, which I think they did. Maybe they called 911 and he was the closest available help. I don't know.

Hard to find good matchups like this, certainly when the other two are flying as a team. Damn Brewster!
