Actually if you pay very close attention, they make silly sideways references to Firefly/Serenity on Castle in quite a few episodes. One of the things I love about Castle.
Yup. On one episode he dresses up as Mal for halloween and calls it a "space cowboy" outfit, on another he can speak and understand mandarin and says he learned it doing research for a book, and on one of the recent episodes of castle his mother asks him if he knows about "serenity" referring to a health spa.
There are nods and referrences to the Firefly sereis all over tv. It was a while ago but one of the first episodes of the remade Battlestar Galactica show you could see the Serenity coming in for a landing in the background as the presedent lady is being told she has cancer. Unfortunatly none of this can be used to say the show is coming back...even if we want it to.
