I could always find a gv fight in the chains of gv bases.

naval fights along the coast.

the 10k center base was heavily contested and always being fought for. lots of bomber missions came from that spot for obvious reasons.

My first landed kills were landed at A1 on NDIsles.  3 kills in a 190A8  :rock

really?  I always enjoyed this map, especially that high alt base in the center where everyone (each chess piece) faught over owning it

had some awesome fights on this map


as for the one side owning all the strats, might be because that country had taken the bases and obtained the strats at the time the snapshot of the map was taken, perhaps???

 All for this map coming back...   That high alt base was lots of fun. Good for launching bombers off of and one of the few that was really worth getting into to pork. :)   

 On a side note I remember my first kill 9 or 10 years ago I guess now..   P40E on baltic.  Being new I thought the P40 was such an uber plane :P    I couldn't understand why people kept running from me until I joined up with a squad later and they told me  that a good share of P40 pilots were either noobs or quite good in them lol.  Lucky I guess everyone thought I was an ace. :D  Either that or I smelled funny.
