I know that this aircraft didnt see any combat during the war (because Sweden wasnt a combatant), but its a beauty and something diffrent.

Engine: DB 605, 1475 Hp
Max speed: 400 mph
Climb: 3000 ft/min
Armament: 1 20mm Hispano + 4 13,2mm Hotchkiss

geez vonmessa you've been around long enough to have seen the few times someone from htc answered a wishlist post on a plane...although i do question the "field mods" thing.

for sure it's:
no prototypes
squadron strength
used in combat action

anything else that gets quoted is just speculation from what i've seen...some people just don't know or realize that without adequate documentation to work with, nothing gets added.

It's not the "kill record" that keeps the P-26 out of the game, it's the fact that it was an insignificant aircraft at the start of the war that played absolutely no role whatsoever other than the very few that flew being a target for Japanese fighters.

Only in the last 10 or 15 years, they are made by GM now!!  as for Saab A/C they make some of the finest A/C to grace the skies and I'd like to see this one added, provided it meets the HTC requirements, whatever they are... :noid

where there any pusher type combat aircraft during WW2 that would meet HTC's requirements?
The real problem is anyone should feel like they can come to this forum and make a wish without being treated in a derogatory manner.  The only discussion should be centered around whether it would work, or how it would work and so on always in a respectful manner.
