Not the sound card, silly. The fact that you are a high powered, slangin' and bangin', ain't nothin' but a thangin', video game developer who is one of the few on these boards qualified to comment on anything related to this game. As evidenced by posts such as these:

Upset?  Not at all.  It is merely the fact that you incessantly remind your peers on the BBS and in-game of this fact that lead me to believe that you would be able to afford your own sound card rather than ask a college student to buy one for you.  I guess making sure the mailcart is in order and then pushing it from cubicle to cubicle is a type of project manager. 

You just continue to fly around mute and use your keyboard to remind us all of your place of employment because you think that by doing so you elevate yourself to some transcendent point of superiority when in fact none of us give a damn.  The fact that your first thought was I was jealous proves that you think this truly makes you special. The thing is you are right. Every company needs a good mailboy, I mean project manager of the mail, to keep things moving - even GAME companies.

Why should I buy a new sound card when the one I have works just fine other than the problem with the mic plug?  Don't see any reason to buy one just so you can have the honor of hearing me speak on vox.  Or is because you heard from betty that I had a sexy voice and that turned you on or maybe it's just because you're nothing more than your average tool?

Does your ire stem from the fact that I called you a tool after you uttered an ethnic slur towards me a few months ago in game or are you still upset because I said I was more impressed by guys like Lev and Drex than I was by you or Grizz?  Sounds like I hit your ego there champ and it still smarts.  Anyway, enjoy.

I have worked in the game industry, unless you enjoy working 100 hour work weeks for months on end (crunch time) or like to 'exploit' that experience as some sort of badge of pride, its nothing to be happy about, unless you like pissing off everyone close to you and destroying your personal life.

I guess its good for divorce attorneys... thats about it.


Also, Ak Ak could just purchase a usb mic that hooks on to his head set, no sound card necessary... but then again without hearing your voice, we will never know how 'sexy' it really is...

Yep, I could use a USB head set but USB head sets are essentially USB sound cards that hog up a lot of resources and the sound quality of a USB head set will never be as good as a comparable set of regular head phones.

I have never once intimated that me or Grizz or anyone else is a better spitfire pilot that Levi and Drex.  


You still seem to be missing the points.  There are two points.  First, you must squeak or something because there is no other reason you for you not to just get a mic.  That USB excuse is cute though.  

Second,  when you act like a tool about something in the land of the internet, you are going to get spurned and made fun of.  You thump your chest constantly about the fact that you work for a gaming company and expect the rest of us to give a damn.  Your saying that you want Grizz to buy you a mic was a perfect opening for me to make fun of the tool Ack-Ack for having a squeak AND for being so proud of his meaningless job.  (I typed that real slow so that you could get it this time.)  End of story.
