don't get me started on gasoline prices...there is absolutely not reason for anything over $2 besides greed.

$3.99 a gallon here, and that's the lowest price I could find.
Most prices are around $4.05 or so.

I'm still rather impressed that you mine something out of the earth on the other side of the planet, ship it over an ocean, refine it, ship it out to a distribution network and I can still buy a gallon of the stuff for under $5.

That being said this $4/gal has got to go. :)

Makes you wonder how much of the cost of shipping it is linked to the cost of fueling the truck/train/airplane/cargo ship that brings it?

you would think the petroleum companies would get the idea they are causing their own problems...increased fuel costs equal increased transportation costs which in turn increases production costs and joe consumer has to pay the price for it...but then how do you bill yourself for a business expense that you control the costs on?

and Taxes...  Oh wait, I think that may be covered by greed.
:lol  i should have worded that differently...no reason besides greed to justify the outrageous costs.

Gas price are 1.32/L 'round here. That's equivalent to 4.98/us gal for those of you who are metric disabled. :lol
Cost me 50 bucks to fill my small toyota  :bhead. If you think gas price are out of hand, look at the pricing of many common household items like cars, tv and other apparels like that. Even though the CAD is almost the same value as USD, I must pay up to 30% more than us citizen because they didn't change the price when CAD went up. Right now Canada is like a big milk cow for company all over. But hey! It's not like we have the choice...

Edit : my brother own a toyota tundra. It's always over 100$ when he goes to the pump.
