Question for a Pony expert
« on: April 07, 2011, 10:17:23 PM »
Below the gunsight I've noticed a black arc. I never gave it much thought figuring it was some kind of scale or maybe a compass rose or something.  But I looked at it closer tonight and noticed although it has marks like a scale it has German Airplane names printed on it.  He177  ME210 FW190 etc.   Anyone know what that's about?

That is an easy one... the dial would preset the gun sight to that aircraft. Once the aircraft filled the gunsight, they could have the range.

It also allowed the gyro gunsights to work properly for that target as well.

many things of what exactly? things that dont work? truth be told some things that are just art in game but real in real life dont even need to be there because the gunsights etc work perfectly for us and custom gunsights can even improve over the real ones etc.

go make your own flight sim...we're all aware of your vast knowledge and expertise...

on the other hand...since every problem you encounter is between your chair and the keyboard, you could do something simple like...get a computer that will actually run the game...stop using a wireless connection...and stop blaming other people for your shortcomings...or just go outside and play g.i. joe with your little buddies.

Here are details on how the K-14 gunsight works.  Pretty neat stuff.

As for what's wrong with the AH model, it's not the booze that's modeled wrong.  I'll tell you what's really wrong.  Sunglasses aren't modeled!!!  :furious  Oh the injustice of it all!!  Can't Pyro and Hitech give us even perked sunglasses for flying into the sun???

Nothing worse then flying into the sun trying to climb out, always seems like when I think I found the perfect furball - I end up taking
off into the sun. It's pretty cool though, at least its modeled, only wish I could figure out how to dive out of the sun.
