I saw the Cowboys vs Aliens trailer on TV for the first time...  I haven't laughed that hard in quite a while.  It's a must see.

Not 2011, but Spielberg's Interstellar ought to be one of the few if not only big time hard-SF movie in the next coupla years.

Sucker Punch looks pretty good. I'm not really a movie person but it caught my attention. Looks like lots of action and some reference to WWI

Well "Super 8" is one that I'm really looking forward to seeing, as well as "Cowboys vs Aliens", "Captain America", "Rise of the Planet of the Apes", "Transformers 3", "Hangover 2", "Green Lantern", "The Rum Diary", "Pirates 4: On Stranger Tides", & "Fast 5", those are the only ones I can think of ATM.

isnt there a cloverfield sequel this year?
Yes & no, there is a sequel but not until 2014, although there was speculation that another movie J.J Abrams was making "Super 8" was the Cloverfield sequel before more was known about it.

I was going to say 'none' untill I saw this... Rutger Hauer is still doing movies?

He has made some pretty awful ones and then some gems. Waiting to see this one :)

i dont think the next cloverfield will be a "sequal". i think it will be the same monster, in the same timeline,  but instead the movie will be based off another groups point of view.

the reason i think this is because in an interview JJ abrams did about cloverfield, he did nothing but nonstop talk about because of the way they filmed cloverfield, theres tons of points of views that could be made out of that movie.

he used the bridge scene as an example, when the guy is filming lady liberty burning, for a few secs you see someone else filming the main charectors on there cell phone. Abrams said thats what he means when theres so many points of views in cloverfield. so i think the next cloverfield will be the same location and all, just a diff point of view. but ether way i hope they have more action scenes in the next cloverfield movie. i loved the monster scenes in the original, but it just seemed so few.

the Biggest thing im looking forward too hasent been officially announced, but its being strongly hinted that Jurrasic Park 4 may be released ether december 2011 or early 2012. really looking forward to it. the plot sounds good.
