262 whine

Ok just flying around in the MA in the 262 and there seemed to be quite a few flaws and bugs while in it. Im not sure how to post the video but I shot two targets one flown by jdod on the deck and the other by oboe airborne that weren't awarded to me..... Also I killed two right before I was killed by spatXII in what looks like a ho. The thing that pisses me off is that I never even saw where I was shot from till I reviewed the film. I was even more pissed when I saw he was practically HO with me and I never saw him in my sights. I will post a video for everyones review and you will see I wasnt given credit for a shot on JDOD while he was on the deck and OBOE in a p39. I already know what everyone is going to say about the HO hit from spat. I would have seen him for sure and there is no way I woulda let someone HO me like that.

Another in a myriad of "run to the BBS"- knee jerk reactions rather than simply present the argument with hard evidence to the makers.

Between threads like this one, and the purse fight going on between the children in the "I lied" thread I keep tinking it's time to close out the BBS and move on. Only problem is, it's where I get the ideas for my cartoons  I guess I must wallow through the crap to continue to look for a gem

So if I accidently flew into the Gunner Sites of a B24 and get Killed while flying in a 262 is that considered a Bug? Not sure I just had very bad SA that night and thought I was coming into the side of the formation and not on his 6 Oh well lesson learned and he got some good perks for that kill and my squaddie got the credit for one of his drones i Flamed before dying

A few years back I compressed a diving 262 and crashed into a landing lancaster.

Reminds me of the 'never again in a million years' flight in SVGA Air Warrior, back when you closed a field by dropping 12 bombs on the runway, and I was tooling along at 30k feet in a B17, had dropped on, IIRC, A70 and was turning for home when I started seeing "A kill has been recorded." marching up the chat window; apparently a squad had popped up on the runway to run a mission right before my bombs hit, and I got something like half the group as kills. I kept chuckling all the way back to landing every time I thought of how the pilots must have felt, clicking 'fly', popping up on the runway, then *boom* they're back in the ready room, with no one visible around the field, and the field's closed; my B-17 and my two escorts were the only planes in the sector (not for long; we had a goon circling ready to zip in and take it).

You can only unlock the SpatXII after successfully vulching 100 people on the runway and shooting 5 chutes.  Dot command is .showspatxii.  It comes with a cloak.

Watched the whole film. Didn't see anything that would lead anyone to believe that there is something wrong with the 262. Your connection on the other hand may be the cause for not registering the vulch on the port dock and the disappearing P-39.

As far as what killed you. You were so target fixated on the one Spit that you completely missed the other Spit diving HO on you and raking you from stem to stern.

Again, nothing wrong with the 262.

Every time I have HOed an Me262, and I will do it every chance I get as I despise the things, I have tied or won the contest.

You just have to fly the right airplane.

Watched the film.  It wasn't an HO.  It was a high deflection shot from above and ahead of you.  The Spit IX did nothing improper other than possibly using the Spit VIII as bait.  You fixated on the Spit VIII and assumed your speed would protect you from any aggressor, then you paid for it.

I agree.. the 262 IS bugged.. at the very least I think it needs 4 more 30mms and an extra 100mph top speed.. k, thx.
