:salute to the first squad that I really noticed as a force in the MA's back when I started playing. "LTAR'S AT A...!" was an alert that was electrifying a whole country...

Why disband to form another squad? Can't you simply press on? Throw some money together and hire some hitmen. :D

I always respected and enjoyed the fights with the LTARs. In the pre-wrible days they were down right deadly in an Ostie; and the tank battles were a blast (no pun intended)

I wish you well.

LTARWojo,

My good old friend, I sincerely hope to see a huge turnaround on this statement.  Call it a sabatical or a break, reorganizing in any fashion that you guys see fit, PLEASE.  I cannot imagine a new ground vehicle concept with newly added ground armor and an absence of "LTARs" to show us what to do with them.  :frown:

Hell, if I was ANY good in those things, I would join up with you brother and be proud just to hold the LTAR flag.  PM me, I am very concerned about this.  At least hold the flag through to the next version update sirs, I beg of you.

You have taken enough of our souls  in combat that we are all somewhat intertwined.  AH2 and LTAR are synonymous.

Your pal Chilli  :salute

I remember years ago the whines on the forums and in game about the LTARs rivaled those of the current ones about the vGuys.

Too bad the LTARs are closing up shop, they made this game interesting and fun.  They were both good foes and good allies.   :salute

Ya but most were deadly even if was just a couple of them around. I can compare them to the AKs now a days. Just a real pain in the arse to go up against but in a respectful skill kind of way

<S> LTARs!

Consider to stay in AH as the best way to pay hommage to your squadron. Small is beautiful too.

Cheers!  :salute

<S> Sorry to see you guys go Wojo. Its been fun to play with you guys as much as it to go against you guys. Certainly is a loss for the Aces community ...

<S> Don't play much now these days, but I've always respected the LTARS. Finding out they were defending a base meant it was going to be one tough fight.

Same.

It was a true privledge to have been a part of it.  When wearing the LTAR patch, there were times I would show up at a base under attack by myself, and I'd get comments on range to the effect that everything was under control since LTAR had arrived.  Their reputation was hard earned and well deserved.

I am very sorry to see it come to this.

Since I haven't seen GHI on the boards for a while, I'm going to steal his picture.
