if you're referencing the DOHC 4.6 ford engine.....it appears to me to be a take off of the old 427 cammer.
Yamaha designed heads for both the original Taurus SHO v6 and the later Taurus SHO v8.
Yamaha, during this exact time period, designed heads for the toyota V8s, the s3gte, and more than a few others.
The current lexus v8 heads use the exact same type of chain actuation, tensioning, and rocker arm type as the ford dohc modular motors and even look almost identical when viewed with the valve covers off.
If there were patents held by ford or lexus, there would be crazy lawsuits over them being near identical so I'm pretty sure these current heads are either riding a patent licensed from yamaha or derived from the design.
