a repair hangar would be good..one that could be bombed out.

That's not half bad. I still think the general consensus will still be no. Having the ability to take out a repair hangar/pad would be a pretty cool option.

The repair-pad would only be good for repairing flat tires, which we haven't!
It's not called 'rearm-pad' for nothing ;)

I know it's been asked for before, but a refueling pad on V bases would be a help.

Oh come on, they always could give a couple units of plasma while clamping off the bleeders. Heck, they could do it in 15 seconds and have 15 seconds to smoke a cigarette.

While we are at it, maybe they could model a 10 tall bubble canopy so using a mouse targeting reticule would be accurate!

Of course, repair would probably take more than 30 seconds if there was ever the chance that a repair pad was added...

OK...maybe not PW's (I've landed on early PW's survived long enough to land sortie and also died while waiting to wake up to end sortie lol) but I was thinking along the line of a missing aileron, elev etc or a gas leak (if you have enough gas to make it to a hangar, if not then ur SOL)
You would need to taxi to any plane hangar and a minute later your plane is fixed. (During that alone time you can go a have your way with the ramp tramp and come back.)
Maybe the repairs could have different color paint like from a salvaged plane lol?
The repairs would be for FCS's only, since an engine hit would require a major overhaul and a missing landing gear would require a belly landing anyway.

Replacing flight controls requires rigging and inspection which takes time. Repairing any battle damage of any type would also require a thorough inspection. Bottom line any aircraft unfit to fly would be grounded and the sortie would be over.

I don't bring supplies to Gvs.  ;)
I assume the GV supply option was put in the game to enable the GV fight to continue and it doesn't take place at a base. It takes place out in the field where the battle is being fought. When a guy flys his plane back to a friendly base he's out of the fight and on the ground, if his plane is unfit to fly it's time for a new plane. Maybe he can get his name in lights with the next plane.

Say you're in the middle of ressuplying and get vulched.  You should be able to get your arse outta' there.  Might not be all the fuel or ords you wanted, better than nothing, but I believe you should be able
to leave the re-arm pad at any time.
