The media was all excited about it and stated that everyone was excited. In actuality only the media really cared as they saw a way to make money off of it. Most really don't give a hoot one way or another.

I was interested enough to catch a few video clips and slideshows that condensed the goings on into a reasonable amount of time.  I appreciate a country who respects it's heritage and traditions and keeps them alive with events such as this.  Here in the U.S. we just can't do that sort of thing, we might offend someone...  :bhead
