I can understand some old brits fussing about this wedding, but what I do not understand is why does the rest of the world give a **** about this.

Good business for the media to get high ratings and sell commercials time. People are such sheep.

So if the first born is to be king/queen what happens if they have twins?  First one to come out is it?

I was being serious.  You wished them luck as if they are members of this bbs, so I was wondering what Kate Middleton's in game name is if you know.

You shouldn't really reveal silat's true identity on the BBS.

Can all you nay-sayers please sod off for a day or so?  :P

Anyway, on to what I actually want to say.  Regardless of the general retardation/pandering by the media, this event was probably the most complex wedding I've ever heard of, and it went off without a hitch (aside from one cartwheeling member of the clergy).  Regardless of how you look at it, you can say that it was a damn impressive ceremony, an excellent piece of organisation and that it produced a nice display of patriotism from the various crowds.  So whilst I think the media attention was overblown and ridiculous, at the end of the day I'm pretty impressed by the event itself and happy it went well.

So congrats to the newlyweds, and God save the Queen.
Afk for a year or so.  The name of a gun turret in game.  Falanx, huh?
Apparently I'm in the 20th FG 'Loco Busters', or so the legend goes.

I hope the fly over isn't the only thing that everyone found spectacular at this wedding. I mean look at those old Lady's hats. They nearly have to balance them selves with weights not to tip over.

I thought that was the reason why they picked that time and place?  :headscratch:
So what else was that crowd doing there if not waiting for the Spitfire, Lancaster, and the Hurricane?

I am not familiar with the current British political system, does the royal family have any real power or is it just a symbol?
As far as I know mostly the prime minister and the senate are in control of the country.

The Queen can do anything she likes, but if she does anything that we don't like we will cut her head off. It's a good deal for everyone.

Britain is our greatest Friend and Ally; one of very few nations that has stood with us through thick and thin, and backed us even when it wasn't politic to do so.  Britain is beyond reproach from decent Americans.

I wish Prince William and Princess Catherine a long and happy life.  "Cheers!" :)

Don't know them... don't care to. Don't care what they are doing or when. Sick of the media's idea that anyone really cares.
