We have guys who donate their free time to make plane skins, but nobody can be conned into writing a basic manual for free instead?
Instead of a dedicated manual, Aces High relies on a volunteer training staff and
WIKI pages to provide information on how to play the game. The very basics are provided by HiTech in their
HELP SECTION and it is up to us to figure out the rest. There may not be many Aces High players who contribute with written manuals but there ARE plenty of trainers in the "TRAINING ARENA" and the
"HELP AND TRAINING" FORUM that can answer your questions.
Also keep in mind that the method for taking bases (that have a town) has changed recently, and also that a MAJOR release of the game that changes how ground vehicles work has been released LITERALLY a few days ago. HiTech Creations is a very small company trying to pull a profit with an (AWESOME) game in a very niche genre while charging a very affordable price. What this means is that they don't always have the resources to keep the documentation current, and because of all of the people who gladly volunteer their time to help out new players much of that documentation would go unread anyhow.
Add in the fact that the office just moved their physical location, that a new version was JUST released, that they are working on patches for the new version, that the owner just had a baby (congratulations HiTech, btw!), AND that a holiday just passed by... and you can understand why the documentation isn't exactly "up-to-date".
For future reference, please take note that people who come here asking for help, and then complain about the quality of that help are usually not tolerated for very long in this bulletin board community. Personally I feel that you should apologize to BaldEagl as he's been around a long time and really knows his stuff. I can understand your frustration, but there is no excuse for taking that out on the people who are only trying to help you out.
Good day.
*NOTE: I just noticed the Aces High WIKI link is not working.. perhaps they took it down so that the old 'outdated' information could be purged.
