not sure what the wheel has to do with a civilization having a massive knowledge of astronomy but...if you say so. seems to me any civilization that could cut stone with the same precision as modern machinery and build massive structures without the the wheel, had to have some knowledge beyond your understanding.
And the very best stone cutters built Twainaku, in present day Bolivia. Their work was unique because they actually angled their stone (instead of just stacking up blocks) which showed an advanced knowledge of geometry. They also had no written language.
