cant land a gv

I'm REALLY SICK AND TIRED of being miles away from EVERYTHING, and getting a ditch/capture in my gv. WHAT GIVES HTC???????????????
YOU REALLY NEED TO MAKE THE PARAMETERS FOR LANDING GVS MORE REASONABLE. CUZ YOUR CURRENT SETTING BLOW.

I have been getting ditches while on concrete at a field and the town.  I received a ditch on the rearm pad last night, which was not rearming my Wirbel I might add.

Seems like there is an issue with "stopping" exit while rolling gives you a ditch, and if your rolling on a rearm pad it won't rearm. Maybe when your stopped your either not waiting for it to come to a complete stop, or there is a bug and the GVs are not "stopping" completely.

This morning I was attacking a gv base with a panther.. I dis-engaged drove for 15 minutes, away from any other spawn, gv etc, stopped, shut off engine, towered, and was rewarede with a ditch and capture. Pure BS and sux for game play. If you are going to have these artificial devices known as spawns, then you should have a more intuitave way of towering without getting penalized.

someone needs to get a life away from the computer...a reasonable adult would post a question with concerns about the issue and hopefully get some feedback as to whether is it an application bug or user error...but that would take a reasonable adult.

Yeah somethings up Fugitive.  I have been an avid GV'er for years so I am completely versed in stopping completely for resupply/rearm and where you can stop for rearm and for safe landings.  Something has changed.  I stopped & moved the vehicle several times trying to get the rearm completed.  I would get the orange text about reloading done in 30 seconds, but no reload ever occurred.  Tried several times finally decided to land.  Lo and behold a ditch. I think there is something to "the GV's not stopping completely" although I tried it with engine off and on, as well as different positions within the vehicle.  Same result.  Will wait and see what comes of it...

I don't think the enemy spawn point is close enough to a friendly base. Drive back towards base after spawn camping. That may help.

Fixed an issue that could cause a vehicle ditch to be improperly registered due to the vehicle still moving imperceptibly.  Be sure that your current speed indicator displays an S before trying to exit your vehicle or a ditch will always result.

Anyone can land a GV, it's the taking off part which is difficult.

I don't think you can get a ditch and capture.

Do you know the paramaters for safe landing?

There's at least one (minor?) omission on this chart: Under certain circumstances you can get a "death" result when in enemy country, being damaged and no enemy is within 6k - when the player that had damaged you is not around, but still in sortie.

A little trick...  If you're on level ground, run into something and shut your engine off before towering out.  Works like a charm.
