If we ever get this aircraft I would like the air to air RS-82 rear rocket option. :rock These are the same ones the Russians added to their A-20's. :x

The wing profile in Pe-2 was relatively thin to make it fast and thus made it rather tricky to fly at the edge or at slow speed.

Petlyakov Pe-2I, root NACA 23012 tip: NACA 23012

However, the profile is of same thickness as that in Mossie (RAF-34 12%) so if it was modeled the same way it would probably be quite good.  ;)

This strikes me as a manueverable, faster TBM-3 Avenger. Has less firepower in the nose, more in the tail, certainly more speed and 'turn and burn' quality. Roughly same payload sans rockets. Am I mistaken about this?

I would like to see it added though. It would be great to run some scenarios were the Russian/comrade/Communist side had a full compliment of scrap metal in the making. I hate the Russian birds, tough and deadly.

No way the Pe-2 is gonna out turn a TBM, mthrockmor.  It would be a nice versatile addition to the plane set.  +1  :aok

Based off this the first fixed type of rocket launching did not work. The next type was adjustable with aiming the gun that seemed to work.

Not sure if this was the aircraft that did not get done in the past by HTC as there was not enough interior pictures.

If so this link should help.
