North Carolina: Thank you for the memoreful trip <S>
« on: May 17, 2011, 08:42:49 PM »
So,

I had a change to have trip to the NC and what kind a trip that was...

Lets start about the landscape.
It's a really beautiful there. A Lake Norman area... Wow! So green, clean & tidy. A heaven on earth. Okey, they have some really nasty spiders there  so, watch out.

Traffic
No bad. I mean from a first timer drive POV in US. All good.

Views
Well, nicely rounded and in right places.

Food
Oh, boy... So good, it would blow-off a button off from my jeans, if I would stay there any longer.

The best in last

People
Where to start?
They were so friendly. It feel so good to go out and say 'hi'/ 'howdy' / 'how are you?' and have small-talk.

I also had a extreme rare opportunity / honor to meet a group of very special people, while they had their annual tournament party.
I'm very thankful for that. I met a very nice people and had a very interesting conversation with them.

Thank you NC. I'll never forget this trip :)

That depends on which side of the piedmonts you are on.  I don't really care for eastern NC BBQ.

Last time I was in NC all was well until I was sitting out behind the hotel by the pool enjoying a relaxing drink in the sun when 3 gigantic African American women in really skimpy bikinis came strolling by and I'm not talking gigantic in a good way lol.

Thinking back on it I have a picture of that "What has been seen cannot be unseen!" cat in my head.  lol

I used to spend a lot of time in the Charlotte area when friends went to some schools there.  I've been bugging my wife about us taking a vacation there for awhile.  It's a great place and I miss it!
