I went down by Lanc guns. But, then again I was going in behind with no strategy. In the end, 4x303s can do something.

erm, the tail guns on the lancaster we have ingame are 2x50cals so 6x50cals with the three drones. A better comparison would be the spitfire mkV, XIII and IX, without using the cannons, and on a target who's going 400mph+ relative to you.

The Defiant would be useless in AH, but....

I have shot down aircraft with just the four .303s on the Spitfire Mk IX, Spitfire Mk VIII and, even closer in behavior due to being in close proximity, the four on the Mosquito.
