if their CV's are built like the products that they sell to us, they will sink, break or catch on fire with in a years time....no worries!
They call it "common sense", then why is it so uncommon?

Yep, bigger than you could ever believe.

Better start learning Chinese. They gonna love you long time.

RTR

No, no, too beaucoup... I think first they're going to love Taiwan long time. After that, they might extend their reach, assuming, of course, that they don't have to stop their voyage every so often to get out and row circles around the CV.

Okay, for the record, neither I nor anyone I know thinks Chinese people actually do this. It's just an innocent caricature of that old thing we used to do in youth to switch drivers.

Some say revenge is a dish best served cold. I say it's usually best served hot, chunky, and foaming. Eventually, you will all die in my vengeance vomit firestorm.

The single greatest threat to America is from within and will deal with monetary policy. All else falls second place. Within 5 years the US will adopt some version of the gold standard, which is goog; and, the US dollar will no longer be the sole international reserve currency. When this happens, again within 5 years, we will see some very big changes.

Boo

No, this is accurate - money is the sinew of war.

I would differ, though, by suggesting that the fiscal policy is going to be mor esignificant - and will drive the monetary policy. I.e., if we continue on a deficit track fiscally, the logical monetary alternative to enable it is inflationary (hidden tax revenue, if you like). OTOH, get the fiscal house in order and we need no such monetary sleight of hand. That's near term. We know that if the former case obtains, it'll only last so long.
