there is already a delay as you have to move out of gunner position and back.  i hate hitting tanks only to see them pick up another supply as much as you do, but I see some of you that like to camp saying yes to this wish  :noid.

blimey! lots of positive replies :aok

... For example, if you click "load supplies" do you have to stay still during this time? What happens if you click "load supplies" and then you start moving? Is the supplies wasted? Or does the supplies not disappear until you actually get the effect from it? And if that is the case, then what happens when two people click "load supplies" during that window? Only one gets it? Food for thought.

I'm thinking you'd have to stay parked until the repairs are complete. If you move before that, the supply becomes available for anyone to pick up again. Graphically, the supply should remain until it has been used up for a repair.

who doesnt like a little target practice? ;)  not sure how it would effect spawn camping either way - it would apply to camper and campee alike ...

Same time delay as the re arm pad would seem appropriate.

Like the idea of the crew having to get out, run to the supplies then run back and spend time carrying out the repair.

Thats a nice and smart wish, I hate those tankers that have 20+ supps next to them; you hit theyr turrer once and you see the smoke, then u fire again and he fires back missing, you hit and they miss, bye turret again, then you fire again and you hit again, they fire and take you out.. thats not pretty fair cuz you hit them 3 or more times, and they take you out with one, I thinkc a 15 secs delay should be fine cuz we are in a combat zone.

A big

+1

again  :aok

I'm not a camper saying this. I'm the one that goes in an M8 and get the turret & pintle knocked out.

I like this idea too.  Or, have an area that requires some down-time between resupply and spawning after death... even with aircraft.

Why does it take the rearm pad 30 seconds to ONLY rearm, and supplies repair 100% of the damage AND rearm?  :headscratch: :headscratch:

Why should tanks be allowed to be repaired at all?  Planes cannot...
Even some minor repairs, such as oil/fuel leaks on a plane would be nice.
To repair the tracks or turret on a GV with just a click is simply amazing.  gamey...

Coogan

Tankers fix their own tanks, even under fire, if they can.
Tanks have tools strapped to them for a reason.

Fixing a plane is beneath the dignity of a pilot.

Which is why when not carrying a drop tank, I strap my crew chief on for those "I have a 2 inch hole in the engine block" type moments  :D  :airplane:
