But he didn't!  :lol

You think if I were to hop in my plane, and buzz the nearest group of people that line would work? Its not that he didnt, its that what he did was incredibly reckless and stupid.

Hey Raptorkid, has anyone recently told you that you're an idiot? 'cuz you are.

That guy is less than 3 feet off of the ground, he could have picked some FOD up in his engine, it would have stalled, and then BOOM! Not alot of room for error. Not to mention he could have sucked one of the people into the intake........

It's not a helicopter, destroying the engine does not make the plane crash, it just makes it's flight a lot shorter.

I'm not saying it's not risky but if you know what your doing it can be done. And as I said before it seems that the people were expecting him, if they agreed to be there (they were not tied up so they agreed) than you can't blame the pilot for what ever happens to them. They knew it was risky, they took the risk, nothing happened, they went home happy.

Keep in mind that fighter pilots have a bit more experiance and better training that privet pilots  ;)

That low to the ground, I'm pretty sure a sudden power loss he wouldnt have time to react. It would be over.

Agreed, but it still doesnt make what he did okay.

Nah I was just being funny, and I know i'm an Idiot, please you give me way to much credit.  :rofl

I would hope that you wouldn't, i'm trying to be humerus. What he did goes beyond standard military aviation protocol i'm sure at the very least. I was joking but I agree with everything your saying.

Plus his plane has a prop which is like a lawn mower blade pointed forward destroying anything it touches. But understand his moral point.

Why don't we level on he should have been flying about 20 feet higher on that pass if not higher and leave it at that.

At 300-400mph plus in level flight? I don't think so. He's not flying a Cessna you know.

The plane would have shuddered or he might have freaked out not knowing what happened and at the speed its just less time to react. A small tap forward on the stick at 400 MPH would send the plane to china, just think of speed in relation to reaction time and factor in his altitude.

Edit: Also Fighter Jets don't glide at all so a dip of the nose would be likely because of the rapid decrease in speed. One thing I was taught at Warner Robins is that the faster a jet goes(applies to cars also) The less time there is to react if something happens because your going so fast.

I know, but when you lose power, your nose tends to dip, and if you nose dips that close to the ground.......

I'd like to see what eagl thinks about this

I think considering our combined experience with flying high-tech multi million dollar military aircraft, that this is a pointless argument.

If the plane was trimmed for 400mph, and the engine lost power, then the plane would take a nose down attitude to maintain 400.........
