thinkin back.. the bold i have to agree with. i dont know what your speeches sound like, but theyre long, monotnos, and dont really cut to the point your audience is not going to be interested. a good speech is long enough to fill the time limit, short enough to get the point across, funny enough to keep the audience focused on you, and guess what....it doesnt sytray from the topic at hand.

you know with that condescending tone in the majority of your posts.
If you're doing that with with public speaking ... well I'd guess people would grow tired of that fairly quick. Try toning down the condescending rhetoric and add some simple substance.  What do I know about it... I'm just a troll to some.  Those some would be the smug, selfabsorbed knowitalls who just hate to be told their poop does in fact stink. The majority though are  the PNGed shades that get outed. 
I'll leave it to you to figure what group you belong to.

Good examples to emulate would be widewing and guppy.  Those are just off the top of my head. A prime example of whom not to emulate a majority of the time would be krusty.  Take a look a the posting styles of those I listed and see who you come across most like. If you can't figure that out... just look at who gets the most grief.

I've read a lot of post by you. I have yet to be moved or impressed.
You seem to be so impressed with yourself I don't why you bother worrying about what anybody thinks.
