The tiger, panzer, and t34 are the oldest tanks in the game and are sometimes mistakenly labeled as "super tanks" because they are not modeled with the intent of fighting with the current tanks we have therefore before we get new tanks we must update the old so that they are not under/over modeled to the current GVS THE TIGER, PANZER, AND T34/76 WERE ONCE THE ONLY TANKS IN GAME THEREFOR WERE ONLY MODELLED TO GO AGAINST EACHOTHER

Nonsense. Sorry, but there's no other way to put it. ;)

And who is labeling the T-34/76 or the Panzer IV as "super tank" anyway?  :headscratch:

I was in an A6M3 with the crappy Type 99 Model 1 cannons last time I engaged a Wirblewind.  I took his turret out in one pass.

Those "crappy" 20mm's may be on the bottom of the barrel in regards to other 20mm cannons, but they still can do far more damage per round than any .50 caliber.  It only takes 1 round to come any where near a AA pit to disable it.  Vs a wirby/osty, it takes far fewer rounds on target to get the job done than .50cal FMJ's.

I'm hoping that HTC will consider double checking the damage model on the Wirby, the hull seems to take more damage than the Panzer IV and the turret/gun is rather weak.

The p-40 was in need of an update. Personally I think once we get the ki-43, all attention at HTC should be put into remodeling current ah1 planes/tanks.

I've noticed it often take far more tank hits to kill an Osty than a Panzer but I just assumed that was because the Panzer is full of high explosive that can be set off while the Osty is not (or has less).  Or is the Osty chassis filled with as much 37mm as the Panzer is filled with 75?

Grousers DO NOT help tanks turn they help to keep them from sinking in soft ground. US tankers called them duck bills. To use them you took off the end connector and replaced it with a end connector with grouser. Tigers and all GE tanks had a single (dry) pin that connected the track blocks.

no sir grousers and duck bills are two different things and the germans had duck bills as well, duck bills are the extensions added to tracks to make them wider in bad waether such as snow/mud, in effect what that does is give the tracks more surface area and thereby lower the ground pressure by distributing the weight over a greater area, you then do not sink in as much and then get better traction.  grousers help with traction on harder surfaces such as in the game we have, they would also help on ice...we dont have ice...yet?.....find some good pics of a tiger and look at the tracks.you will find that because of the design that they are dirrectional and one is mounted forward and one backward facing. turning in one direction will be easier with better traction than the other. not all tamks are like this. but the TIGER was.
