Thunder, this is truly a sad day for me.  The 91st was my first squad and you my first CO.  You have personally been a mentor and a friend and I really hate to see you go! We all will miss the fun that was a "Thunderegg" epic bomber mission (I will not mention any chickens here if you know what I mean) and I think that I can speak for the entire squad in stating that you are a great person, a great CO and a great friend to us all.

Not sure what will happen to the squad, but we will certainly do our best to keep your seat warm!  Best of luck in all that you do and Godspeed to you and your family!

I WILL call you from time to time just to keep you up to date - LOL

Forgot who said this while trying to take a base, but the quote goes like this. "I cant help you with ack, Im not in attack mode" This is with only 2 ack up in the town while troops were there, waiting. The rest of the town was down.
