The symptoms..
1) Alt tab
2) desk top is visible, but audio is also playing
3) game suddenly is viable and game is loading textures again
4) desktop mouse cursor is visible in game and game won't react to keyboard commands.
5) press ctl-alt-del and bring up task manager
6) boom!
