The sales guy isn't anything special (sorry ladies/Camaro enthusiasts) but the sales girl at the used car place up the street just about sold me a 2008 Shelby GT500 which is deep down what I really want but don't want to pay for.  "Huh, what?" as I snapped out of her trance.

Dirty blonde, cute, named Ivana, Ukrainian, accent, glasses...yeah.

I might offer a ride and lunch as an apology for not buying a car from her.  Either that or somehow be convinced it's a good deal to trade in my brand-new off the lot car for the Shelby that's sitting there  :headscratch:

Wow, I would love to test drive a Mustang GT once.. By reading the OP I know I just have to try one now.
There are not too many of them around here in Norway though, but if the opportunity bids itself I'll be sure to grab it with both hands.  :aok

I have a weird combo in my garage though.. Its a 73 Camaro Z28 powered by a 400 Ford truck engine, what do you guys think of that?  :noid

Here she is..

i don't think i've ever seen anyone put a ford engine in a chevy. i'd say that's something very unique....even over here in the usa.

i'd also be willing to bet that you just made a couple peoples heads explode.  :devil :bolt: :rofl

i also just found out......one of my good friends in the civil air patrol just bought a 2010 camaro. he's gonna let me drive it next week at our monthly staff meeting.......on base, and off, so i can get a feel for the camaro. his is only a 6 cylinder, but they're no slouches. i'll probably post something like i did for the stang........

BTW>>>>>definite cool factor on your car sir.  :aok

Thanks Cap, it kinda stands out in the crowd I guess.  ;) Was thinking of adding some dark red iron cross stickers onto the front fenders, and possibly some discrete red/white hotrod pinstiping on the nose. Just to add the looks I am after.  :aok

Does she sound as mean as she looks? I bet it draws attention.
Are there many American cars in Norway?
I would love to take my Mustang to the other side of the Atlantic.

Thanks.  :)
She has just one muffler on the size of a small thermos under there, so yes.. She rumbles quite loudly, makes the steelplates on my garage-roof vibrate when she's on idle inside there..  :D
But the most impressive is the tremendous torque this truck engine produces, burnouts can be done in slow motion while almost on idle. The engine just rumbles and takes no notice of the rear tires slowly turning.
Draws alot of attention, almost too much. I can't even stop to fill gas without being interviewed by some by-passing dude..  :noid
But yes, we have quite alot of Amerian cars over here. Its a big community with clubs all over the country and alot of seasonal activities. Street legal drags and so on.  :aok
