There's a BOSS 302 (and a Shelby GT500) both Kona Blue at the dealership I ordered my car through.  Seeing my car next to the BOSS knowing it's only 200/month more than the ho hum little sixer I ordered...

Plus higher insurance...

Plus all the wear items I'll go through tracking it...  :(

Plus the entry fees...    :huh

Even when it's added up it almost seems worth it.  Almost.

Whenever I feel that way I just need to look at the videos of the 2011+ sixers hanging with and beating 2008-2010 GTs and I remember why I bought what I did.  I don't know where my new found discipline is coming from but I'm hoping I survive walking past the Shelby (what I really really really want, money no object) and the BOSS (What I could afford, technically...) to get to my car.  I think the sales team is doing this on purpose because they're all the same color as mine, they're new arrivals and they know I'm interested.  Bastages.

The sooner mine gets here (it should be on a train!) the better and the cash burning a hole in my pocket won't be there anymore so I'll stop shopping...right?  :cry

Patience Golfer... patience :)  Go see a movie or something.

to be honest, i'll consider myself lucky to get financing for either of these cars.......while my credit's not in the pooper, it's not that great either.
it looks like when a ford dealer runs someone for credit, they run them through about a dozen different possible sources, including ford motor credit. i've heard in the past, that if you've got a heartbeat, and an income, ford will take the loan on........either way, i'm applying at both dealerships tomorrow, as getting credit won't lock me in, but rather it gives me 2 options.

You'll be approved.  If you're not for whatever reason then if I got approved, so will you, talk to the guy I'm buying from.  I worried the same way but I am good all the way out to 60 months at 1.9% with all incentives (adds up to $2250 off X plan price, which is Invoice + 0.4%) with my "modest" rating we'll call it.

I wouldn't sweat not being approved especially with anything resembling a reasonable down payment.  Ford Credit is the only one that popped up on my report as an inquiry.  They're going to sell it off to somewhere else anyway (nothing will change on your end) once it's finalized as I understand it.

I will say waiting sucks.  I'm pretty sure I said that already but just to reaffirm...waiting sucks.

well, i'm leaning  Heavily  towards the 012. if they'd come down to about 27k or 28k for the 011, i'd settle for those couple things that aren't exactly what i want.....but i don't think they really can come that low on that car.
so really, it's a no-brainer between the two, considering only an approx. 2k price difference.

if for whatever reason neither of these goes through, i'll definitely give your guy a try.......and i may try a couple i saw listed on ebay, at dealers in tx too........either of those options would also give me an excuse to meet another cool cartoon pile-it.

Go with the 12 :)

Evidently the least expensive (not most direct) route from Detroit to Philly is through Boston.  My car is there in a CSX yard awaiting transport south.

just for the heck of it......i saw one on ebay in virginia......so i emailed em about it. apparently it was sold this past weekend. i'm really starting to think they're bait-n-switching on there. he did have a very nice sounding one for 33 even, with the brembo brake package, backup camera, heated seats, and a couple other goodies.

20 minutes......i'm gonna hafta wait'll i get home to watch it. i'm sure i'm gonna see a poorly driven mustang gettin passed.

if i make it up to mcguire, i'll have a review on a v6 camaro, as gary's told me he'll let me drive his 2010. we have another member with a 2010 v8, which i believe he had a supercharger installed on.....i don't wanna ask him to drive that though, as he's one of those that i'll have hanging over my shoulder constantly....and then i'll have to let him drive my car. gary can....this other guy can't.....no way no how.
