Golfer....if you're serious about appearance products let me know.....I know the best to use....even window cleaner.
The show guys gave me tips and products that are considered best in the business.  They are no more costly then off
the shelf stuff.

I use this:

http://www.griotsgarage.com/product/car+care/car+care+kits/starter+car+care+kit.do

http://www.griotsgarage.com/product/car+care/wheels+%26+tires/wheel+tire+cleaners/rubber+cleaner%2C+35+ounces.do

&

this
http://www.invisibleglass.com/

No better combination and I have tried them all.   From Meguiar's, 3M, Zymol (not the store bought stuff), Classic, Zaino's and several others.    The only other one I might "test" is Klasse.  But my next step is to get an orbital and get even more out of it.

Cap damnit!   Get a Shelby!  Contrary to popular belief even though I'm MOPAR I think the new Mustang and Camaro are great!

This stuff would not have happened if Lee Iaccoca hadn't designed the Mustang.

Best gett'em while they are available.  The Govt. is already stepping in as it did in the early 70s'  (I was there)

Muscle again sadly will not be produced.  Keep what ya have if you have muscle already!

Also gents I can get you a list of great vendors who will get you mods at fine prices.
You can deal over the NET, or by phone which I prefer to do.

Jay I use a Combo of all 3.  I've tried them all and use what I think are the best of the bunch.  I also use Meguiars quick detail for the interior and Meguiars Gold for car wash.
Also Jay methinks before using an orbital buffer you may consider using a clay bar first to lift the dirt from the paint instead of swirling the lifted dirt around on the buffer pad and making swirl marks.
In all cases MICROFIBER towels and Pads are the only way to go!

stayin away from the shelbys only because i've never liked the 5.4 liter engine.

just hung up with a dealer in va, that seems to be getting me a good price on a pretty loaded gt though.....and under 500/month.

I have the griot's clay bar.   The speed shine product is great.     I keep an 8 ounce sprayer in my glove box for birdsh*t removal.

dood./.......every black colored vehicle i've ever owned seems to be primary target for stuka-pigeons, and lanc-birds. always pissed me off, when i'd just finish washing, and drying my car....go inside for a few minutes, get somethign to drink, come out to wax....and there's poop on my car.
it never seemed to happen to my red geo, or my blue taurus........just the black cars i've owned, including my dakota.  :bhead

Have some new data but was unable to post from the phone the last couple of days.

Suffice to say that a challenger with 200 less hp than a 700hp brand new camaro goes just as fast, if not faster in the standing mile.

Also.....A F104 taking off and buzzing you is an amazing experience.

well, here;s part of what i get to deal with.

my shop.....i rent the building, at a gas station. in new jersey, that's the best way, unless you can afford to build something brand new on virgin land, thanks to the dep, epa, and probably a couple other alphabet agencies.
the property is owned by indians. he has sikh's(i think.....they're the ones that wear turbans, and are disgustingly nice) pumping the gas for him.
they don't like chasing or killing anything it seems. they feed the birds, on the side of the building. most of the birds that come are those british starlings(i think that's what they're called). these things now live in the soffet of the building, near the building perimeter lights.

they poop on friggin anything black. nothing it seems of any other color. hell, i just yesterday, parked a customers s-10(tan) where i normally park my dakota. not a dam thing on it. yet my dakota, or my jeep parked there, look like they were attacked by the pigeons in high anxiety.  :bhead
