Here are a few videos I took of some ol' war birds starting up and flying around. Sorry for the shaky camera work. Enjoy! <S> fudmukkr

It was the PBJ.  They had to retire it because it was so delicious that the aircrew would eat critical parts during long flights.   :D

I met up with BERN1 prior to the start of it.    It was a great Airshow, as always.   The B1B flyby was sweet, have seen it twice there (last was in 95)

Nice vids thanks Fud. That first aircraft to taxi out, the dark blue one with US Navy written on yellow down the side was a Bearcat?

Very interesting to see the relative sizes of the aircraft, the Zeros, err sorry the bad guys, look small!

since a C-1 is on the list, im sticking with my guess that it is the plane before the PBY.

Looks rather purposeful. Not very much of an expert on American aircraft I'll have to read up on it.

That is a bearcat.

I would like to down to the air show some time. Was it fun?

ToM was a few weeks ago and although the temps were in the mid 90's, it WAS fun. I went for the old warbirds and left before the Blue Angels went gear up. They do the same thing every year. So wasn't missing much.
