I'm also surprised how well Skyrim runs on my X4 965 with a Radeon 5770, I was expecting it to be slow until I bought a new videocard.

Right now I am at riverwood, talking to the people, reading in the tavern as sven plays songs, thinking about wether going back in the aid for the stormcloaks or looking for more words to learn, guess i should be moving soon...

I already tried 3 characters, a Redguard Mage, a Khajit sneaking archer, and a Nord Two Handed warrior. Albeit, I've only gotten all 3 to level 10, I manage to explore quite a bit of the map. I'm gonna go back to my Khajit and focus on the rest of the game. Very fun game.  :aok

the game is concentrated on combat, not on shaking the screen.

I'm trying to decide whether or not to lift the 'curse' if the werewolf I've been inflicted with, so far it's been fun transforming in the middle of a fight to and slaughtering multiple enemies in a fight.

darn glitch! i released a bunch of fellow stormcloak prisioners and they got their weapons alright but in the fight they just leave their wepons and use their fists o_O We lost some of them in this sillyness but we were victorious anyway... I hope no one else has this trouble.

I had all but one grab their armor and weapons.  The one that didn't grab his armor and weapons after I freed him was the bravest of the lot and rushed head long into a group of Imperials while the rest of us decided this was a good time to make our escape.  The last thing I saw as I ran out of the door with the other prisoners was Jurgen in the middle of a sea of Imperial soldiers, with just his fists flying furiously.  Imagine our collective surprise once we made it outside of the keep to find Jurgen waiting for us near the campfire.

Morrowind was 10x better than Oblivion....

But I feel like this game is more like Morrowind so I give it a 7 out of 10...now don't get me wrong bethesda games are my favorite but...

I have already beaten the main questline I am the archmage at the college and the leader of the thieves guild.  The main quest was was too short and frankly not nearly as interesting as morrowind was.
But most of the side quests have made up for the main.

My favorite soundtrack. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=_oRXA19hrCM&list=PL0AA3738EF2E18AC1&index=2&feature=plpp_video

Too many epic moments of scenery while listening to this to count. Gosh, I can't imagine the future of gaming.

Another video of epicness.

:rofl incridible!

Belial, do you know if that famous texture mod for morrowing (better looking graphics and such) is finished? I want to buy morrowind and that would be a nice info. never played morrowind before myself, people say the combat system is worst then ablovion but that the storyline is great and such... and i became a fan of elder scrolls when i played oblivion and started reading all kinds of books about the history, so many things to learn

I don't know about graphical mods but if you can stomach 1999 graphics Morrowind is a hell of a game, frankly I thought oblivion sucked compared to it.

So if you can handle it your in for a treat.

Morrowind's story was really great and immersive with the dark caves and such, and running into the deadric gods...foolish mortal do you know with whom you speak?  :D
