Next Week in the AVA--Tankwarz/Dogfightz

Next weeks setup is going to be this:

Tankwarz/Dogfightz

Map--Guadalcanal by USranger
Comms:
Axis--123
Allies--123

This setup is a combination of Tankwarz and Dogfighting. we are asking you, the public to pick the planes you would like to see in a 1 on 1 match-up. base capture is encouraged, however if you capture all the bases, i will reset it back to normal. the map has close bases and spawns with short runs to each base. that's why i chose this. This is not a PAC setup but rather a map with close spawns. This setup is to encourage both GV battles and dogfights. have fun with it and I'm open to any and all suggestions. Carriers will be out of play. ***AIRCRAFT AT VBASES***

No icons below 200. Is that below an alt of 200ft or distance from target below D200?  Can you turn off icons for GVs entirely? (since that is a big whine of GV drivers in the MA you might be able to draw some new people in if GV icons seen from planes are turned off, then advertise on the general topic forum) 

Plane match up of SBD vs stuka, just to be different and maybe encourage supporting the GVs.

The real problem is anyone should feel like they can come to this forum and make a wish without being treated in a derogatory manner.  The only discussion should be centered around whether it would work, or how it would work and so on always in a respectful manner.

I have no opinion of the planes but this  seems like it s gonna be fun  an d will give me an introduction to AvA and  planes I typically wouldn't use in the  MA. Really need to get this out there to the general community

I believe the EnemyLowIconRange affects any enemy below the radar alt. I believe the default is 4500 (1.5k yards) and is why GV icons show at 1.5k. Having this variable set to 0 should turn off icons for low-flying aircraft and ALL GV's (unless it's that guy's jeep that flew off the cliff - but then it would disappear once he's below 200' AGL).
