Mission Editor Roll Delay
« on: August 16, 2011, 11:40:44 PM »
I wish the planes that have been assigned a roll delay, would not spawn on the runway until it's time.  As it is now, they spawn right along with the planes
that don't have a roll delay assigned to them.  To me, it's a waste of resources having planes spawn and sit on the runway, which may not be needed for another
10-20 minutes.

How about even an addition to the mission editor where you could have multi field launch points.

Example 1:  Large B-17 mission with Pony escorts to mimic German bombing raid.  Buffs launch first from rear base then 51's launch from a closer base to conserve fuel while buffs are well protected by distance from the front.

Example 2:  Mission with both gv's and aircraft.  Set mission to launch aircraft strike force to a base that may or may not have a gv spawn then later have gv's spawn from another.
I know naysayers will argue, "why not just post multiple missions" but why not give the options to make more creative missions.

Didn't mean to hijack.  I just thought this could be something that could go along with the OP's wish.
