Trainer Help
« on: August 24, 2011, 01:30:34 PM »
Hello,

I can do more than hold my own during a one on one fight.  :banana: However, I never can't seem to last a second when there are multiple enemies. I just wanna bang my head against the wall.  :bhead I would greatly appreciate a trainer that knows how to handle crowded situations.

Thanks,
BCC81

    A way that you can practice the multiple enemy scenario is offline using the drones. Concentrate your attack on one plane, and use the .wingman command to highlight a second plane, pick a plane close behind or around the one you are concentrating on.  Attack the one you are concentrating on but every few seconds switch your view to the plane you have wingmanned. Once you destroy the first plane, switch your attack to the wingmanned plane. If you want to continue, after destroying the first plane and switching to the second, wingman a third plane and continue. A progression of this technique would be in the TA with a couple planes that maneuver as planes would in the MAs.
   There may even be offline missions you could use to help.

First off, thanks fuzeman for the idea. I will try that. Second, how does Tuesday night sound? That is the 23rd. Plus 5pm would be the best time. Thanks. Just let me know if you can't do that. I am fairly flexible.

Thanks,

You won't go wrong with FLS. Most of my training was mock dogfighting with FLS at A1 in the the TA. So much fun.
You are in a maze of twisty little passages, all alike.

<snip>

You could do this when A3 was Bishop and airspawning over A1. You just needed to make sure your flux capacitor was fluxing and capacitating correctly and loaded with banana peels and beer cans.
