I really do not look at it as a grind either.  I am simply having fun and building experience in a crew I am going to move to a new tank.  Right now, we are having a blast with the guys we have from AH in our clan and are becoming more and more competitive everyday.  Last night we made it to the territory battle after a tough tournament.  Everyone involved had an absolute blast, not to mention we got to really stick it to a known group of crap talkers.

The M10 isn't as fun as I thought it would be. You tend to get 1 shotted a lot, but when you get the upgraded turret on the M36 slugger, that's a different story.

One thing you can do is keep your M10 when you get it and save up TONS of XP because the M10 will branch off to the M18 when they release the next US Tank patch.

Another tip for you new guys: Once you get a Tier 5 tank, keep it if you don't have a premium tank. Tier 5 is where the money is at. Once you hit Tier 7, you'll be paying 1K credits per shell.
Like, ya know, when that thing that makes you move, it has pistons and things, When your thingamajigy is providing power, you do not hear other peoples thingamajig when they are providing power.

i get 1 shotted alot in my priest by the scouts that feel the need to put a massive gun on their tank that only damages arty because the penetration sucks on it.

I think the most fun German TD is the Marder II- got a 9 kill run on it on my old account (restarted after I got sick of a bunch of the guys I had been playing with). The German mediums, especially the Pz III and the Pz III/IV are a blast, but from my experience before restarting, anything higher than the VK series of experimentals lose so much money when you lose the battle without a premium account that they ruin you- I went bankrupt less than a week after I got my Panther, and I never got enough xp to upgrade it much. Thing was a shell magnet in every battle, and the matches it got put into, the stock 75 bounced off everything. It was the Leo all over again.
Treize (pronounced 'trays')- because 'Treisprezece' is too long and even harder to pronounce.

My favorite so far between the two runs is the VK 3002 DB with the 88 and all the other upgrades. Fast, agile, well sloped armor and great gun. Its just so... evil.... >:}

how could the 105mm possibly penetrate a tigers armor? let alone a IS-3? it had a penetration of 53/150 (150 on very rare occasions) and that completely sucks, unless your loading all HEAT rounds then your not gonna do much damage. you would have been better off with a normal 75mm.

1. The stats on the tanks in WoT's are notorious for being innacurate to what they really are in game. From the front shot on a Tiger from Close range, i was chipping away atleast 20-30% damage, Sides were usually a 35-40% damage shot. Behind was 40-45%.

2. I was in The Britannia clan in the beta, We experimented on Each tank and learned their weak spots. Each tank has specific spots that allow critical hits. The 105 is great at getting Critical hits.

3.Like i said, the 105mm sherman just had a fun factor to it as well which kept me using it.
