I just got my pzrIII/IV and feel like it is the first tank that can actually penetrate the enemy's armor... Although if by some chance the matchmaker put my pzr III in the top tier of the battle, I would easily get 5 kills. Sent Bodhi a PM about playing with some AH players.

I love a good BT2 run..fully pimped, camo net and toolbox...such fun after a slugfest in the big tanks,
also got a su85 all pimped great fun,
can get  up to 7 kills in a match in them ...its a lot of fun.
t34-85 is  the bigest tank I have at the mo, su 100 almost done the grind,
the little ones can be a laugh though

While tanks are in AH, I think GVs are a side note. The Planes are the main feature. Over time maybe more will be done concerning the ground.

Of course they are.   :)

I would also like to say that I think the ground is over modeled. It's hard on my 38.

You tanker fellas need to watch what you wish for...... if you can run over trees then you should have to go around bogs. :D

well i finally got my finger out of my nose for a while and decided to grind on the M3 Lee for a bit, even though people say the T1 heavy sucks, i have to say that I've done some pretty amazing stuff against tigers and KV-13's. Its not a bad tank if you can learn to use it correctly. most people think "oh its a heavy, it can take anything" and charge in like an idiot. you need to wait for the suicide scout M3 stuarts and such to get in and find the tanks and then find a way around them. but if you really want a good T1hv then get the upgraded suspension, engine, gun, turret and maybe a camo net. i never bought premium for this account, never will, but its a good credit maker, i average about 15k credits and 400xp per round if i win/draw. losses are about 7k and 200xp.

ok, rambling on about my T1hv is now over.  :old:

I was never much of a tanker in AH. :-)

If I didn't get stuck in a high tier battle, I really enjoyed my T1 heavy.  I think its a good tank against comparable vehicles.  Of course, I'm also someone that liked the M3 Lee in the same situation.

its good until you have to fight tiger 2's and T-29's. i can still penetrate the frontal armor of a tiger (well placed shot in the drivers seat though) given the chance. KV's with the 107 are really just annoying little buggers...if they have the 76 then im fine :lol but ive had too many close calls with kv's and their cursed 107. the armor seems to be easily penetrable from 300m out, i guess the upgraded gun is for sniping?

If you're in a fight with King Tigers and T29s, you're fighting uphill against higher tier tanks, like I described.  If you're fighting KVs, keep the front of the tank pointed at them, and use that rapid fire 76mm to either HE or AP spam them to death.  I shot a lot of HE in my T1, and with a rapid fire gun, you can crit them so bad that they are rendered ineffective very quickly.  One match in my T28, I was actually killed by a pair of EZ8s just HE spamming me from a hull down spot.  I had just a fraction of their turret visible to me, I couldn't get any arty help, and even though they were only chipping 60 pts of damage off of me a shot, they killed about half my crew and critically damaged the gun, view ports, tracks, etc.  Spam that turret as much as possible.  Just don't trade licks with them.

:lol thats what i do in my hetzer against T1's. sometimes i'll use my leopard and purposely hide behind a heavy tank and pop at its turret.
