Theres a time for camping-base defense or just enjoy it and a time for real gv'ing

probably the 2 best places to see how good you really are is at v28/v83 I believe...the one where you spawn on the mountain..it's hard to keep ground there both sides have their advantages.

And Ndisles?  the one with the town in center and 3 vbases?

I personally stopped attacking vbases when 17'bers went in because I hate dying to man acks.

Only time Spawn camping should be allowed is when someone is attacking town - generally where I get most my whines about camping - however when my flag's white and you are spawning Lemmings in M3s - then its your own fault, however there is some cheesy players who camp with 20+ like at V135, I mean seriously a player can't even get time to see let alone zero in 1 tank before a dozen shots ring out.

I don't blame the rooks, flying CAP over 135 today I notice a share of knits being bomb****s while the fight was still going on. Sad part is some will in fact do whatever it takes to land 2 victories, while rest of us like me enjoyed a shoot out with a Panther at 3k (which I lost and I scream hacks) :D

I find it humorous when someone complains about being camped.

Avoiding being camped is easier than avoiding being HOed.  It is simple, when you first up, jump into your pintle gun and take a quick looking around.  Killing your engine may help.  If you immediately see numerous rounds coming at you, then it is a fair assumption that the spawn is camped.   :D

To solve this problem, don't up again, go find another fight.

I rarely carry HE.  When I go to another base I am looking to kill tanks.  Taking the base is just a sideline.     :D

My Opinion

My list of tankers would be Belial, Poolfool and Rondar. Knits have a pretty awesome tank corp: Hooter, Dr7, HC, Shufly, oddball - any one can kick back a GV fight to a spawn and clamp it down.

I have never fought any of the Knight tankers yet, but Belial, Poolfool, and Rondor have popped my turret so many times....LOL.
One thing I have learned from them....and practice every sortie.......If ya stick your peaker out to take
a shot......put it in reverse and get your tank behind cover while it is reloading. You will live much longer.
I usually tank in the T-34/85.....and it takes forever to reload...... I have yelled at those Russians back there to hurry up........
so I usually have my engine running.....which makes allot of tankers mad. But, what are ya gonna do?

So true! But I still love the T-35/85, for whatever reason, I kill far more tanks, fighters & bombers in it. Especially cocky IL-2's   :joystick: :old:

I'd have to say Dr7. The others seem to have a solid grasp of tactics, or have good aim, but rarely both.

When we meet eachother on even terms, its usually an exchange of kills at a ratio of 4:5 in favor of Dr7, which only stops when the fight stops.
You started this thread and it was obviously about your want and desire in spite of your use of 'we' and Google.
